David and Joann were honored by obtaining a Life span Accomplishment Award from United Way of Better Greensboro, The Shingleton Award from Duke Most cancers Institute, and acknowledged as associates of the William Booth Culture for the Salvation Army of Better Greensboro.
He and Joann had been really energetic with foreign missions via New Instructions Ministries and set up clinics and churches in Haiti and India.
Between his other community routines, David was the president of Greensboro Rotary and member of the Rotary Club of Aspen as very well as getting recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.
